Whenever it comes to selling anything online in India, the first category that comes to people’s minds is the clothing business.
The reason is simple.
There is almost a never-ending list of consumers who are related to clothing in India, and this niche will never stop growing.

Once you have an understanding of your target audience, try to understand that the interests and behaviour of the audience can be of different types.
For example, there may be one person who might like watching anime, someone might be more inclined towards sports, and someone might like rap music.
Although all of them are in the same category, their interest and behaviour are all different things.
So first, you have to understand that if there is a pool of audience, then what are the things that they are interested in, and how many different ways can I target them?
Because you have to make sure, in today's time, that you are doing direct targeting.
Let me explain this with an example.
Suppose you are targeting men’s or women’s fashion, but if you want to do a little more and think creatively from the perspective of your audience,
You will get even more ideas.
And now, when you get multiple ideas, they become more ways on how you can target your audience, and if you have a unique and competent idea,
It turns into less competition, as the market is filled with generic ideas.
With these ideas, always try to create different ad creatives for different audiences and test further to see which audience’s targeting suits you the most, i.e., bringing you more results.
Keep on testing, because only after a certain amount of audience targeting will you be able to know which is your correct target audience.

This is a question that persists in our minds: Why do we need to start the campaign?
Or even if we do what we should do, then what will be its structure?
Let me clarify this for you, so that you know how to test your audience ,find your best performing ads, and how to scale them in future.
➡️ First, as I told you in the previous pointer, you have to create a persona of 5 or 6 audiences, to set all these things.
➡️ Now what do you do, create different types of sets and propose them.
➡️ You have created 5 ad sets in which you are targeting different audiences and now you are going to run them continuously for 5 to 6 days without making any changes to them.
➡️ Now, I know, it is highly possible that your money may get wasted in some ad sets, some ad sets might perform very good, while some might perform average at best.
And this might tempt you to think that your ad is not worth the shot.
So, first of all, let’s to the testing.
Suppose if you create five sets using a budget of 50,000.
For 5 to 6 days, check which targeting you have used is giving you the best performance, then you have to use that ad set as your winning ad.
After finding your winning ad set, you must find your winning ad creative.
After you have understood that the video ad is performing best for me, then you can rest assured that this particular campaign is best for me.
So, next time while starting your first campaign, your main goal should be to take out a winning ad set and focus on that more.

Now, when you would run ads continuously for 10-15 days, many people would purchase from your website, but there would be a fair share of people who would just add the product to the cart,
And while taking it to the checkout, they wouldnt make the purchase.
So in that case, they would be your hottest audience.
The chances of converting them would be pretty high, and hence in that case you must have a retargeting campaign.
After preferably 10-15 days of running ads, i would suggest you must open a retargeting campaign, where with a minimum budget you show ads to people who have interacted with your website but haven’t made a purchase.
Now the question comes, how to run a retargeting campaign, you do it by creating a custom audience.
In your custom audience, target only those you have viewed from your website or who already have purchased from you.
The chances of converting them is the highest.

Now if you want conversions, you have to come up with genuineness, and to create that you have to include offers or try to instill urgency that make them take action immediately.
Good urgency examples are; Buy one get one, FREE additionals with the product etc.
And for those who don't convert, along with retargeting campaigns, you must also keep nurturing them with newsletters, whatsapp updates, so that down the line they might buy from you.
