Hello everyone, I am Damini, and today, let me run you through one of the most exhausting scenarios business owners have to go through.
You are paying a handsome amount to run ads,
You have shed blood, sweat, and tears to make the most perfect ad creative,
But still, somehow, in the end, you get 0 extra leads, no sales, and no clicks,
No one can debate the fact that it’s heart-wrenching and makes you question everything about your business.
But do you know why it happens?
It’s not because your product is useless or your product’s offer is weak, or because you are displaying ads on the wrong platform.
The prime reason this happens is that your ad creative is broken into so many different and small pieces that it becomes impossible for your prospect to properly understand your business.
Now don't stress yourself around it, because today I am going to tell you five such main reasons that one fixed would instantly put you ahead of 90% of your competition, and your ads will pull in leads and sales more than ever before.
And I am not just saying it, I am guaranteeing it.
Because these reasons aren't just a compilation of overused strategies of 2020, infact they are the tactics perfectly curated with keeping the new and industry changing updates made by meta.
and if you don't know what are those revolutionary changes,
Now, today, usually whatever ads you see on the internet, you will find one common thing in all of them, and I say it is the “biggest marketing mistake one can ever make.”
See, whether they are in coaching, clothing, or sales industry, most of the business owners are focused on telling people what their business is and how good their offer is.
Trying to attract all their attention to 70% off, BOGO, etc.
But in fact, the only thing that truly goes into a user’s mind is What will I get from this?
And this might be the harsh truth, but no one CARES about your business.
I repeat. NO ONE.
So, instead of explaining your business and trying to flood them with offers, rather than just try to answer this one question to your potential customers,
How will your product change their lives?
If you answer this question correctly, then believe me, your ad would not only run, it would flourish.
Else, there’s no doubt that it would fail.
Now, I will give you a hypothetical situation.
Suppose there is a gym trainer who has launched a 30-day workout plan, and he keeps pitching only this workout plan in his ads,
Then, what do you think how many leads he would get?
0.
No one will be interested in his ad.
But on the other hand, if he tells how he is making the other person's life better and healthier within 30 days,
Then people will be more interested in it because in such a situation because you aren't just pitching your product, but you are evoking emotions in your audience.
And the more emotions you pitch through your ads, the better results you get.
If you don't believe me, then think of all the big brands that come to your mind and see if they run this type of ads where they are only pitching their offers.
Look at Zomato, it does not sell as a food delivery app, it sells humor through its cheesy, funny one-liners as notifications.
Everyone has their own set of emotions on which they sell their customers.
So from your next ads, you should do less pitching and focus more on how you will change your customer's life.
Not only this would bring better results, but this would also ensure the fact that you are bringing in leads at a much lower cost.
And by the way, if you want to learn more ways of reducing the ad costs of Facebook, watch
Now, although some might know about this first part, the second point that I am going to tell you, there's a high chance that no one would have told you about it.
So, do you know the most valuable currency today?
No, it’s not dollars, pounds, or even gold.
It’s Attention.
If the first 3 seconds of your ad seem too salesy or boring, then your prospect will simply skip the ad.
Let me give you some examples.
If I start my ad by saying Hi, how are you, then I will get skipped.
If I have very perfectly scripted lines, that means I am just reading my ad script by script, then I will get skipped.
Along with this, if I have shot in a studio setup or have done a lot of over-branding in my ad, then also I get skipped.
The reason is that people nowadays are too skeptical. They just know when they are being sold.
So you need to understand how ads work in 2025.
You might have recently heard the trend of UGC content, i.e., user-generated content.
And the reason why it works so well is the feeling of familiarity it brings to the reader. Look at the creators you see on Instagram, you are hooked to them because you think they are just like you.
So, if you can bring the same feeling in your ads and people get to understand what your business is about by watching UGC content, then he feel more reliability and trustworthiness.
For example, I am selling suit sets online, so if I make a very professional ad, get a video of my product shot with very good lighting and run it as an ad, then I don't get good results on it.
And on the other hand, if I make a UGC video which highlights the dreams, pains of my audience in an engaging and humorous way, I am bound to get much more leads than before.
So, that’s the thing I want you to keep in mind, UGC’s are much more reliable and profitable than a normal professional looking ad.
Hence, if you want your business to excel in 2025, then UGC’s are the way to go.
And if you want to create UGC ads in the most cost-effective manner, you can,

Honestly, it has proven itself to be the best way to connect to your audiences as it sells emotions, hence making conversions much easier.
The best way to design effective marketing campaigns, like Amazon or Flipkart, is to study how they use emotional marketing for their brand and how you can use it effectively for your brand, whether it is through emails, videos or through hoardings.
Just go through their campaigns, analyze what exactly made the connection with the audience, what made them stand out, and how you can replicate the same with your business.
Now, the one thing that i am about to tell you, I have seen most people run ads without implementing it, and honestly it just sets up your ad up for failure.
I will give you a hypothetical situation. Suppose I have a brand of kurta sets.
Now, according to me, who is my target audience?
Women who are between 18 years to 65 years old. But do you think that the designs that I create will be liked by all age groups?
Definitely Not.
My kurta sets may be liked more by the younger generation, and older women blatantly reject them.
So if I am making a women's wear brand, then it does not mean that all the women available in the world have become my audience.
And most people tend to make this mistake of making their ads like this.
So, always have a better understanding of your target audience, and you will make much more compared to generic/broad targeting.
And if you want to know how I study my target audience, watch this;
While making our ad sets, we assume our target audience very broadly, whereas the case is quite the opposite.
That is why the message you are trying to give through your ads does not hit anyone deeply.
Make sure that you make your ads keeping in mind only one person.
For example, if you make ads for working moms, then after seeing the working moms, your audience should say, Hey, this is exactly me!
Or if you make ads for college students, then after seeing the college students should feel that I also have the same problem.
So, from next time, just take a section of the audience and create ads related to it.
And I am not saying that you should change your targeting in this or I do not want to explain any technical words here. I am just telling you to narrow down your message in your ads.
The more specific messages you create, the better results you will get.
I am 100% sure that if you do this, then your ads will bring fantastic results.
Consider this pointer as a mix of 3 and 4.
Now look, I am also mostly seen by business owners, marketers and I myself am a marketer.
When I was in the initial days of marketing, while making an ad, I used I used to think, ‘what do I say to sell them’,
But that is one of the biggest mistakes that happens, if you start thinking like a marketer in the beginning, then subconsciously you will become too technical.
You have to think about what the customers want.
And for this, it becomes important to understand your audience,
What their lifestyle is, what are his pain points are, what problems they are facing, and when you do this research and understand your audience.
You have to make ads according to the psychology of your customer and not by using the psychology of your marketing.
Only then can you create such ads that trigger them and compel them to take action.
Try to showcase the type of language they are using, their habits, their fears because if the customer feels, this is my life being showcased, only then you get conversions.
And let me tell you something,
These five pointers I have told you about ads are universal and applicable everywhere, so if you are also stuck, your ads are not performing well for you.
Then make sure you try applying some of these two to three things, and as I said in the beginning, it is guaranteed that your business would outperform.
